George Bennett
President, First Health

George Bennett joined Coventry Health Care in 2007, as Senior Vice President responsible for new business and product development for First Health. He was promoted to his current position of President in 2008. He oversees sales and marketing, account management, senior management and operations for First Health. 
 
Mr. Bennett has over thirty-five years of experience in the health care field and has served in sales, sales management, senior management and operations for some of the most well known companies in this business. Mr. Bennett is recognized as a leader in the area of counseling health care organizations on improved efficiencies in the delivery of services to their membership. He also has extensive experience in all areas of insurance and self-funded plans including TPA operations. 
 
Prior to joining Coventry Health Care, he was the Vice President, Business Development at United Behavioral Health. Before joining United Behavioral Health, Mr. Bennett held senior operational leadership positions in managed care companies, including The Traveler’s Insurance Company and CIGNA.
 
Mr. Bennett graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University. He serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations.

Blaine Faulkner
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Blaine Faulkner is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of First Health. In nearly 20 years with First Health and its predecessor, CCN Managed Care, Inc., he has been a driving force behind its transition from a regional not-for-profit medical network to its current status as one of the leading managed care services company in the country.

Mr. Faulkner joined CCN Managed Care Inc., in 1993 as Controller and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 1995. In 1999, he became Vice President of Strategic Planning & Development. Mr. Faulkner led CCN through a number of transactions, including its acquisition by First Health Group Corp. in 2001. He remained with First Health after the acquisition and in 2002, Mr. Faulkner became Vice President, Account Management with responsibility for maintaining and growing the customer base. In 2007, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of First Health and led the integration efforts of six acquired PPO companies to become the largest and most comprehensive PPO in the nation.

Prior to 1993, Mr. Faulkner spent seven years with Ernst & Young, focusing on serving companies in the healthcare industry. He received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from San Diego State University and an MBA from the University of San Diego. Mr. Faulkner serves on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations (AAPPO). He is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of California.

Susan Korth
Vice President, Account Management

Sue Korth joined Coventry Health Care in February 2008 as Vice President of Account Management for First Health. She leads First Health’s account management team who serve more than 325 clients.  
 
Prior to joining Coventry Health Care in 2008, she held various executive positions at UnitedHealth Group, including Vice President of Sales Operations. With over twenty years in the industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the First Health business sector. The Directors of Account Management in the Eastern, Western and Specialty Business divisions report to Sue.
 
Ms. Korth received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, with concentration in Finance and Marketing, from Minnesota State University in Mankato.
